For four decades, SSKB has been deeply committed to supporting charitable causes across New York and Long Island. One organization close to our hearts is the Ascent School for Individuals with Autism. Each year, we host their annual Golf & Tennis Classic to raise funds and awareness for this essential institution located in Deer Park, NY.
This year's event, held on May 6, 2019, at Hamlet Golf & Country Club, was a tremendous success, thanks to the participation of hundreds of attendees who played golf and tennis, joined us for a dinner reception, and generously contributed to our auction.
We were honored to recognize three exceptional attorneys—Michael Clancy from Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles, John Breen from Breen & Breen, and Jon Baum from Siben & Siben—as the "Three Amigos" for their kindness, generosity, and dedication to making a difference in our community. Their support was invaluable in making this event a success.
Over the years, our collective efforts have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support Ascent School's academic and behavioral treatment programs for children diagnosed with autism and atypical pervasive developmental disorders, ranging in age from 3 to 21. We take pride in supporting the hardworking teachers and staff who make Ascent such a special place.
