Amanda Spinner is a highly valued Associate Attorney at SSKB, regarded for her outstanding efforts to seek fair compensation for her clients. With a special focus in the area of medical malpractice, Amanda is an assertive advocate, committed to standing up to larger institutions and negligent healthcare providers who have allowed devastating and unnecessary injuries.

Amanda’s litigation tactics are meticulous and client-centered.  Her emphasis on viewing the case from the client’s perspective allows her to adequately meet their needs during litigations and secure favorable outcomes in court. Amanda manages her client’s expectations by keeping them informed every step of the way. Her accessibility to her clients is a valued trait, allowing her to provide the invaluable guidance and support throughout the entire case.

Diligent and dedicated to her practice, Amanda has secured a number of successful settlements for her clients. Amanda is also a proud member of a number of professional organizations, including the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, an organization that has been dedicated to providing the public with access to expert lawyers for over 60 years.

Amanda continues to spread her passion for the law through volunteer opportunities in the community. She coaches mock trial competitions at Huntington High School in Huntington, New York, guiding aspiring law students with her expertise on effective litigation techniques. During law school, Amanda dedicated her time to the Children’s Law Bureau, advocating for juveniles in trouble with the law in family court. She also worked in the Bankruptcy Clinic helping clients initiate bankruptcy proceedings and mend their finances.

Amanda is highly involved in all aspects of the case, with experience in both pre-trial ligations and trial proceedings. Amanda has handled a wide variety of medical malpractice cases involving catastrophic and permanent injuries, with a strong focus in the areas of birth injuries, failure to diagnose, misdiagnoses, hospital negligence, and wrongful death.

Amanda began her career in law by receiving her B.A. in Legal Studies from Ithaca College in 2012. She received her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2016, graduating at the top of her class with honors. Amanda was admitted to the Bar in 2016 and is permitted to practice in New York State courts. Directly after passing the Bar, she acquired two years of complex litigation experience at a medical malpractice firm on Long Island before proudly joining the SSKB team in September 2018.
