Amanda continues to spread her passion for the law through volunteer opportunities in the community. She coaches mock trial competitions at Huntington High School in Huntington, New York, guiding aspiring law students with her expertise on effective litigation techniques. During law school, Amanda dedicated her time to the Children’s Law Bureau, advocating for juveniles in trouble with the law in family court. She also worked in the Bankruptcy Clinic helping clients initiate bankruptcy proceedings and mend their finances.
Amanda is highly involved in all aspects of the case, with experience in both pre-trial ligations and trial proceedings. Amanda has handled a wide variety of medical malpractice cases involving catastrophic and permanent injuries, with a strong focus in the areas of birth injuries, failure to diagnose, misdiagnoses, hospital negligence, and wrongful death.
Amanda began her career in law by receiving her B.A. in Legal Studies from Ithaca College in 2012. She received her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2016, graduating at the top of her class with honors. Amanda was admitted to the Bar in 2016 and is permitted to practice in New York State courts. Directly after passing the Bar, she acquired two years of complex litigation experience at a medical malpractice firm on Long Island before proudly joining the SSKB team in September 2018.
