Intern of the Week

INTERN SPOTLIGHT: We are thrilled to feature two of our fantastic law interns: Kerrianne Russo and Lindsey Haynes!

Kerrianne is a third-year law student from Touro College. Her interest in law is driven by her passion for helping others in need and desire to be a voice on their behalf. Kerrianne’s law experience began in Social Security Disability law, where she learned the importance of being an empathetic listener and passionate advocate.  She graduated with her B.A. from St. John’s University, majoring in Human Relations and minoring in Criminal Justice. Kerrianne would like to focus her career in medical malpractice law after her admission to the Bar. She is currently a member of the Moot Court Honors Board, acts as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association, and is the Head Representative for Pierper Bar Review.  On a personal note, Kerrianne enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and traveling the world.

Lindsey is a second-year law student from St. John’s Law School. With a deep passion for learning, Lindsey is dedicated to becoming a lawyer and eager to overcome the challenges of each case.  Lindsey views the field of law as an opportunity to advocate for her community and to leave a significant impact on those who live in it. Lindsey graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2018, majoring in Management and Society.  During that time, she worked as a legal assistant at a local law firm where she participated in various cases and learned more about the industry.  Lindsey is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, Women’s Law Society, and the Real Property Law Society. She is also a member of Best Buddies- an organization that pairs students with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities to create opportunities for them to make friends. In her personal time, Lindsey enjoys running and spending time with friends and family.
