Joseph S. Bavaro Named President of Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association

Joseph S. Bavaro, a partner at Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro has assumed the presidency of the Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association.  The 60-year old association represents close to 400 Long Island litigators.  Joe previously served on its Board of Directors.

Named to the elite New York Super Lawyers list each year since 2009, Joe represents plaintiffs in personal injury cases, and has brought numerous cases to successful settlements and verdicts. Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Joe was an assistant District Attorney in Richmond County, NY (Staten Island), where he acted as lead prosecutor in the Sex Crimes Special Victims Unit. He also worked as a student law clerk to the Honorable Justice Louis San Giorgio, Supreme Court Justice, Richmond County. Joe works predominantly from the firm's Woodbury, NY office and lives in Huntington, Long Island.
