Joseph Bavaro | Partner

Joe Bavaro joined SSK&B’s Manhattan office after serving for four years as an Assistant District Attorney in Richmond County, N.Y. where he acted as lead prosecutor in the Sex Crimes Special Victims Unit. He also worked as a student law clerk to the Honorable Justice Louis San Giorgio, Supreme Court Justice, Richmond County.

Consistently named  to the Super Lawyer List for New York, Mr. Bavaro is active in the legal community. He is the President of the Nassau-Suffolk County Trial Lawyers Association, which represents nearly 400 Long Island litigators and is a member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations. He graduated from the State University at Albany with a B.S. degree and Quinnipiac School of Law where he earned his J.D. degree. He is admitted to the Bar in New York and the United States Federal Courts.
